Recent Windemere Conference Review: "We stayed at the Windemere Hotel for 2 days. The desk clerk at check in was very nice and helpful. I asked for a referral for a good Chinese restaurant. She offered me two menus and her recommendation. The Windemere is an older hotel but in good condition. It was well worth the price. Our room was already cool when we got there which was great after  being in a hot car all day. The pool area was very nice although previous guests had left cigarette butts around the edge. The greenery around the pool was a nice touch. It made you feel like you were at a much more expensive hotel. I liked that the pool was open 24 hours a day. Our kids were able to cool off around 10:30 pm after a wedding reception. Breakfast was plentiful. The attendant kept everything stocked and accessible. A second waffle maker would have been nice because we did have to wait to make waffles for our family. Overall I would definitely recommend the Windemere Hotel and Conference Center. It exceeded my expectation for a hotel in this price range."
