Recent Hilton Phoenix Review: "This hotel is close to a major mall and several restaurants, however the surrounding area seemed a little questionable. Once inside, however, it was very nice with an open atrium, in house restaurant, and bar area where you can also order light food fare. The room was warm and comfortable with the choice of decoration. My room faced a major expressway but I never heard any traffic noise. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with, was the television channel choices. There were a lot of pay TV movies, games, and TV shows that had previously been recorded. The fact that there was a refrigerator was a plus. I would definitely stay there again."

The room needs to be updated The lounge chair had a frayed arm. The shower ceiling was peeling.The air conditioner was very noisy every time it came on. The pool area was small and the decking in need of repair. The staff was very polite and efficient.

I was placed in the wrong bed sized room, which also smelled musty; however, they corrected the error immediately. I had a King bed which was horribly uncomfortable. The room service from the Zuni Bar and Grill was atrocious. I had nachos which all stuck together as if it where one big nacho because the cheese was dried and hard. I took two bites and it cost me $40. I was so disappointed in my stay that I did not even complain, which normally I do, because I will never go back there. Definitely not worth the room and I expected way more from a Hilton.

My overall view of the appearance was great. Beds were very comfortable. On site restaurant and nearby places to eat was a plus! However the charge for wifi was disappointing due to the fact that it only covered a period of 24 hours. I needed access from my room the day I was to check out and sure enough it had expired then it prompted me to the Hilton wifi webesite...not good. I was then forced to make or shall I say squeeze my way into the business center where I was greeted by 3 other users on each of the computer stations. Aside from my little mishap with the wifi, I would definitely time my wifi usage wisely. Or look for a place with free wifi.

This is what you would expect from a Hilton; not fancy or fussy but clean, well maintained, modern and with all the standard ammenities (including a coffee maker and fridge). The room was ready when we arrived and spacious with a very comfy bed (so important), the staff was polite, the room service was prompt and tasty and the price was reasonable. No reason at all not to book this hotel.

Mall right across the street. Plenty of dinning in the area. And right off the freeway for easy access. Took wife there for a get away and loved it.

For being a nice hotel you would think they would have coffee pots in there rooms. Instead they have this device that holds two cups, and you poor water into the top of the coral, and it only fills the cups 1/2 full. You also get two little individual coffee packets. Really get some coffee pots going in there. The rooms are nice, and some have been remodeled. They look really nice. I would recomend this hotel. My only complaint is the coffee situation.

Overall nice hotel in a great area. Easy access to major freeways,shopping and restaurants. Room was nice,roomy and the bed was very comfortable. Walls were a little thin, could hear the neighbors from time to time. Only significant downside was the bathroom needed some touch-up of the paint and cabinet stain. General attention to maintenance/cleaning details would have made this a perfect stay.
