Recent Clarion Inn Review: "This motel is clean and pleasant. The staff were very helpful as to directions, internet wireless usage, and anticipated our needs before we asked. The room was large and clean, even though the motel is older. They have a small pool, which was clean and maintained. The continental breakfast is just that...coffee, juice and rolls. There are many fast food eating places within a short drive. Parking is secure, although there are not as many spaces as rooms.This motel is located on Main Street and for the guest with activities in Mesa, Chandler, or Tempe, it is perfect for the low price!"

The pictures look 100% better than the actual building and facilities. Run down! I had stayed at another Clarion in another city and thought it would be the same, WRONG! Would not stay here again. One thing, the bed was comfortable.

I would highly recommend this hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms clean. The breakfast was delicious with a ton of variety. We will absolutely stay there again!

TV Reception was very spotty, never good, and the remote was useless, despite reporting this upon arrival no improvements were made in a 4 nite stay. Peeling paint in bathtub, and toothpaste cap in sink drain.

The room was clean if a little old in need of some repairs, however the price and location more than made up for any shortcomings.

There are many areas where the general maintenance is lacking. Some of the carpets seem to be needed major cleaning. Doors and walls need painting. The bathroom fixtures were in poor maintainance. The shower head fell off. The maid service did the best they could and we find no fault in that area. Got the impression that ownership or management were very cheap and did not want to spend for maintenance. A continental breakfast is listed, but that would be a misnomer. The had coffee, orange juice, mini-muffins and small pastry which ran out before 8:00AM.

For an inexpensive motel it is not bad. My biggest frustration was that I could not get their wireless internet to work with my computer. It is the first place I have had problems with this computer, so I am pretty sure it was on their end. If you are looking for an inexpensive room, it is fine, but don't plan on the high speed internet or you may be disappointed.
